How do I file a complaint?

Filing Complaints: There are several avenues for filing a complaint. To file a complaint with the Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE), the student must first follow the institution’s complaint process. Once you have completed the institution’s complaint process and you feel that it needs additional attention, a formal complaint can be filed here with IBHE. Through that process, IBHE staff will work with the institution to determine the best means for resolving your concern. Please note that the IBHE does not handle complaints or answer questions regarding financial aid, student loans, etc.
